Salary Package

  • R163,680 – R192,810 per annum

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum Grade 10 certificate or equivalent

  • 3 years’ experience as a driver

  • Valid driver’s license with PDP

  • Problem-solving skills and good interpersonal relations

  • Extensive knowledge and passion for driving

  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Transport staff to and from various locations as required

  • Collect and deliver mail, blood specimens, equipment, stock, food, medication, and other items

  • Inspect vehicles, report faults, and maintain daily checklists (fuel, oil, water, mileage)

  • Promote proper handling and safekeeping of vehicles and valuables

  • Fill in logbooks accurately before and after trips

  • Ensure vehicle cleanliness and regular maintenance

  • Assist with other support duties as directed by supervisors

  • Comply with the Government Motor Vehicle Handbook VI of 2019

  • Adhere to Performance Management and Development System (PMDS) standards

  • Execute instructions from supervisors and management

  • Participate in practical exercises/tests during the recruitment process
