Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Minimum Grade 11 / NQF Level 3 or equivalent
-
At least 3 years relevant and proven cleaning experience
-
Hospital cleaning experience is an added advantage
-
Ability to plan, organize, supervise, inspect, and evaluate work of subordinates
-
Knowledge of cleaning machines, equipment, Occupational Health and Safety, and Infection Control
-
Computer literate
-
Knowledge of Batho Pele principles and six key ministerial priorities

Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
-
Able to work under pressure and manage a team effectively
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise all cleaning staff and monitor performance and standards of cleanliness

Ensure delivery of first-class cleaning services across the facility

Attend to client enquiries and requests

Conduct staff induction and training for new employees

Inspect cleaning equipment and staff work quality

Develop and implement cleaning schedules and checklists
-
Manage day-to-day cleaning operations and staff guidance

Ensure adequate supply of cleaning materials

Resolve operational problems and make day-to-day decisions

Perform other duties delegated by the supervisor
