ADMINISTRATION CLERK REF NO: JI 100/2020 (X2 POSTS)

Department of inspectorate for correctional services is looking for administrative clerk the vacant have 2 posts available.

12 months contract appointment.
Directorate: Legal Services – Inspections & Investigations
SALARY: R173 703 per annum (Level 05) plus benefits
CENTRE: CAPE TOWN

REQUIREMENTS :

must have a Senior Certificate. Computer literate (MS Word, Excel) and good understnding of to Microsoft Outlook. Knowledge of office administration. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to work independently and additionally as part of a team. Ability to multi-task and common admin capabilities. Driver’s license and skillability in English and at least one different official language an added advantage.

DUTIES:

The successful candidate will be accountable for recording, organising, storing, capturing and retrieving correspondence and date. Update registers and handles activities enquiries. Make photocopies and obtain and send facsimiles. Distribute document/packages to various stakeholders as required. Keep and preserve the filing system for the unit. Communicate with stakeholders. Make tour arrangements on short notice. Keep and hold the incoming and outgoing document register of the unit.
